The National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), established in 1992, serves as the premier organization recognizing distinguished individuals in the human resources field for exceptional professional accomplishments through election as "Fellows of the NAHR”. Election to this prestigious role is determined by a vote of the membership and represents the highest honor within the human resources profession. In 2025, the NAHR inducted six new Fellows, bringing the total number of Fellows to 206. Since its founding, 17 individuals have been named Distinguished Fellows. Over the past two decades, thirteen organizations have also been honored with the designation of "Honored Institutions/Organizations".

NAHR Fellows contribute to the advancement of the Human Resources profession by leading and participating in numerous programs and studies supported by the NAHR Foundation. This includes the renowned NAHR CHRO Academy, designed for first-time Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs).
