CHRO Academy

The National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR) launched its first Academy for first-time Chief Human Resource Officers (CHROs) in 2000. Held annually each June in New York City, this exclusive, invitation-only, two-day event brings together HR leaders in their first top HR role (within three years) to learn from sitting HR executives, NAHR Fellows, and industry experts.

Designed to support CHROs transitioning into the C-suite, the Academy offers an immersive learning experience focused on key issues like executive compensation, talent development, diversity, learning and development, talent acquisition, and technology’s workforce impact. Participants reflect on their leadership style, assess their HR function, and create actionable strategies for improvement, while building a peer network they can rely on throughout their careers.

With participants from Fortune 500 companies and top national nonprofits, the program fosters valuable connections and provides personalized learning in an intimate setting, ensuring lasting support beyond the event.

The $7,500 fee covers all meals during the program.

Participants from nonprofit organizations may request a tuition discount.
