The National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), established in 1992, serves as the premier organization recognizing distinguished individuals in the human resources field for exceptional professional accomplishments through election as "Fellows of the NAHR”. Election to this prestigious role is determined by a vote of the membership and represents the highest honor within the human resources profession. In 2024, the NAHR inducted its 200th Fellow and its 17th Distinguished Fellow. Over the past two decades, thirteen organizations have also been honored with the title of "Honored Institutions/Organizations".

NAHR Fellows contribute to the advancement of the Human Resources profession by leading and participating in numerous programs and studies supported by the NAHR Foundation. This includes the renowned NAHR CHRO Academy, designed for first-time Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs).
