Congratulations to Susan for joining the CHRO Advisory Board for Parentaly. This article spotlights how she plans to help reframe parental leave as a strategic business and cultural opportunity. She emphasizes that many companies handle leave inconsistently and that thoughtful planning and clear communication can strengthen both employee support and business continuity. With her experience linking talent strategy to performance, Susan’s perspective supports Parentaly’s mission to make parental leave a win-win for organizations and their people.

We were honored to spend time with over 30 talented CHROs during the 25th Annual NAHR CHRO Academy in New York City, hosted at the Accenture offices. The program brought together an impressive cohort of emerging CHROs and a distinguished faculty of NAHR Fellows and special guests. The future of HR is undoubtedly bright in the hands of these accomplished executives!   

David will chair the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA)/ Advances in Industrial and Labor Relations (AILR) “Best Papers” session at the June 11-14, 2025 meeting of the LERA, to be held in Seattle, WA. This is the 77th annual meeting of this organization, which was created shortly after the end of WWII to advance the study and practice of employment relations and, subsequently, human resources. The latest research in these areas is presented at the LERA meeting. Lewin is a former President of the LERA and presently co-chairs its membership committee. Several current academic Fellows of the NAHR are LERA members, including Tom Kochan, Peter Cappelli and Kevin Hallock. In addition to academic scholars, members of the LERA include management representatives, union representatives, management attorneys, labor attorneys, mediators, arbitrators, and non-profit and government officials. 

NAHR plays a vital role in advancing the success of Chief People Officers. Congratulations to the Class of 2025! Our third annual NAHR CPO Academy—designed for heads of HR in PE-backed, VC-backed, high-growth, and start-up companies—was a tremendous success. This year’s cohort included 26 CPOs who learned from an exceptional faculty of CEOs, NAHR Fellows, experienced CPOs who have scaled companies, and PE Growth Partners. It was an outstanding group of HR leaders who will remain connected, continuing to support one another and drive success through a strong network of collaboration and shared insight.

Dermot joined the Board of Advisors for Borderless AI, the world's "first AI-native Employer of Record (EOR) platform that's reshaping how companies Hire, Onboard, Manage and Pay their global talent". Dermot shared on his LinkedIn: "Borderless AI is tackling one of the most pressing challenges in modern HR: how to compliantly and efficiently manage global teams. According to The IEC Group, the EOR industry is set to reach over $10B in revenues by 2028.

Monique was featured in the April edition of the Teachers College Newsroom, which spotlighted alumni driving change through leadership. Described as “a champion for TC’s Social-Organizational Psychology students and alumni,” Monique is recognized for her commitment to building community and giving back. In the discussion on campus, she shared her leadership philosophy: “You unlock your full potential as a leader when you realize it isn’t about you. The focus needs to be on others. It’s about the organization, your team, and helping them deliver strong results and outcomes for customers and various stakeholders. The faster you figure this out, it will start coming back to you tenfold.”
