Congratulations to Tim Massa on his Retirement from The Kroger Company

Tim spent his Kroger career at Kroger building out the company's approach to talent, leadership development, and culture, and was a driving force behind the New Beginnings program, which opened long-term career paths for hourly associates. Before Kroger, he spent 21 years at Procter & Gamble.

Beyond Kroger, Tim continues to shape the HR profession through his work with the CHRO Association, the NAHR Board of Trustees, and the Center for Executive Succession Advisory Board at the University of South Carolina.

As Tim put it:

"It has been the honor of my career to serve the associates at Kroger. I am deeply grateful to my colleagues, to the leaders and our Board that I've had the privilege to work alongside, and most of all to the associates who bring Our Purpose to life every day. I will always believe, together, we are the best!"

In retirement, Tim plans to stay active in leadership development: coaching executives and serving on boards, with an emphasis on values-driven leadership, CEO succession planning, and helping organizations build more collaborative cultures.
