NAHR Chief Human Resource Officer Academy

We are pleased to announce the twenty-fourth annual Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Academy scheduled for June 12-13, 2024, to be held in New York City.

The CHRO Academy was established by the NAHR Foundation for HR executives holding their first "Top HR" job, and have been in the role for three years or less.  The CHRO Academy has been created by the National Academy of Human Resources to aid in the assimilation and development of recently appointed heads of HR who are in their first CHRO role.  This unique program is an intensive, focused, and actionable session for first time Chief HR Officers.  It is designed as a place where top HR leaders can meet in neutral territory and share knowledge and ideas with some of the most distinguished and accomplished human resources leaders in the world – the Fellows of the NAHR.  Additionally, the CHRO Academy provides an opportunity to gain the perspective of boards and a CEO regarding the expectations for the CHRO.  Our participants come from mid-size to very large corporations, including public, private, and PE owned firms, as well as government and non-profit organizations.  The CHRO Academy is designed for, and attendance is limited to, those HR executives holding the top-most HR position in the organization.

National Academy of Human Resources Chief People Officer Academy

The Chief People Officer Academy (CPO Academy) helps CPOs in high-growth companies learn how to deliver effective people strategy and bring better overall clarity to the organization and its mission. It is designed for the individual in the senior most HR position in the company and participants come from organizations that are private equity owned, privately held, and/or high-growth start-up companies.

It provides an interactive forum for the leaders of these unique organizations that are in early to mid-stage development to learn from experienced CHROs who have gone through similar experiences and to share the best practices they have experienced for their organization and their people.

The CPO Academy allows participants to network and exchange ideas amongst themselves.

Tuition: $1,000, includes seminar, food & beverage including two organized dinners. Participants book their own rooms from a NAHR room block arranged at a nearby hotel.
